AboutSimon Bowie is a culture writer, film critic, and UK Higher Education worker. He writes and speaks on the subjects of contemporary cinema, Surrealist cinema, digital culture, video games, ethical practice in librarianship, cryptography and encryption, and open access in academic publishing. He works on implementations and support of open licensing models in higher education libraries and advocates for the use of open-source software in Higher Education.
