AboutI am a linguist, educator, researcher and creative. My tertiary teaching includes Theoretical Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, Vocal Diction, and Academic Writing, with English Language, English Literature, and Communication Studies taught at the secondary level. I also have valued experience in administration and supervision. My research to date has applied corpus methods, sociolinguistic methodologies, statistical analyses and discourse analyses to areas such as World Englishes, academic writing, media representations, legal practice, language attitudes, multimodality, historical linguistics, and drama theory.
