About
Luís Henriques is a musicologist currently at the University of Évora, collaborator of CESEM, MPMP and ACROARTE. He was a scholarship holder in the project ORFEUS and is a researcher at the project PASEV “Patrimonialization of Évora’s Soundscape (1540-1910)”, also developing his personal research project Canto Mensurable. He founded Ensemble da Sé de Angra and Ensemble Eborensis, recorded a CD with performances in Portugal, Azores and France. His research interests centre in the 16th and 17th-centuries Portuguese sacred vocal polyphony in Alentejo and music in the Azores archipelago.
