I’m a retired academic librarian after three decades at a small liberal arts college where I coordinated our instruction program and did a whole lot of other stuff, including digital humanities. Currently I’m a scholar in residence for Project Information Literacy. My research interests include how students learn to use libraries, algorithmic literacy, where publishing is going (and why it should go open access), and how social issues are represented in crime fiction.
