About
Alexander Henschel is an art educator, researcher and lecturer, born 1976 in Ludwigshafen. He studied educational science, philosophy, arts and art education in Halle (Saale) and Mannheim. He worked as scientific assistant at the Universitys of Bremen (2018-2020) and Hildesheim (2008-2010) and as a visiting professor at the HFBK Hamburg (2018-2019).
Since 2010 he is working as a lecturer for art education at the Universität of Oldenburg.
With his book “Was heißt hier Vermittlung? Kunstvermittlung und ihr umstrittener Begriff” he completed 2020 his doctorate degree as a graduate of the PhD Programme “Art Education”.
