    Sponsored by the Office of the Dean for Humanities, the 1st Annual NYU Conference on Second Language Pedagogy will provide an opportunity for language instructors to exchange innovative research and effective practices, discuss successes and challenges of teaching second/foreign languages, and create opportunities for further collaboration. We invite proposals from faculty and graduate students for papers (20 minutes) on the following topics:

    ● Heritage language learner instruction: issues, approaches, techniques
    ● Teaching with technology: tools and strategies for increasing proficiency

    In addition to the above panels, we seek proposals for an interactive pedagogy workshop (60 minutes) on the topics related to the theme of the conference.

    Abstracts ( 250 words maximum) should be submitted online by December 15, 2017 before 11:59 p.m. EST via this form.
