History of Europe – Xavier University invites applications for a one-year visiting faculty position in the Department of History to begin August 2018. Subfield open. The course load will be four courses (but no more than two preparations) per semester. Ph.D. by August 2018 preferred. Preliminary interviews will be conducted via Skype.

The successful candidate will join Xavier faculty in the 500-year-old Jesuit Catholic tradition of academic excellence in the liberal arts serving a diverse population of students. Xavier’s location in Cincinnati allows faculty to work with community partners to develop engaged learning and internship opportunities.
