The Department of History at William & Mary invites applications for a one-year, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor in 20th Century East Central European History that will begin August 10, 2018. Specialization is open. The successful applicant will be expected to be an effective teacher and will have a 3-3 teaching load, including introductory European or world surveys and intermediate/advanced undergraduate courses in modern East Central Europe. A PhD is required by the time of appointment.
