Slavic Studies in the Department of German, Nordic, and Slavic at the University of Wisconsin-Madison seeks qualified applicants for the position of Polish Lecturer. PhD or equivalent in hand by the start of the appointment (August 17, 2020) required. Experience teaching Polish is required, as is a one-year minimum of teaching experience at a college or university in the US or Canada. Ability to teach Polish culture courses in both Polish and English is desirable. Native or near-native proficiency in Polish and English is required. The successful applicant will teach a maximum of six courses per year in Polish. The position is full-time (nine-month contract) and ongoing/renewable.
