    The Aleksanteri Institute at the University of Helsinki functions as a national centre of research, study and expertise pertaining to Russia and Eastern Europe, particularly in the social sciences and humanities.
    We are looking for a creative, motivated and enthusiastic postdoctoral candidate for a fixed term from the 1st of January 2018 to 31st of December 2020. The successful candidate’s research project will focus on Russian domestic politics and governance. The candidate’s doctoral degree is expected to have been granted no more than five years prior to the application (2012 or later).
