    EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND PRESIDENTThe Museum of Russian ArtMinneapolis, MN The Museum of Russian Art (TMORA) seeks an experienced Executive Director, gifted at communications and passionate about Russian art and culture, to lead this young, vibrant museum toward its strategic goals, including leveraging the Museum’s unique assets and current momentum to build larger audiences, strengthen operations, and financially anchor the Museum for the future. TMORA seeks a highly visible leader, responsive to sophisticated cultural contexts, and an enthusiastic fundraiser with experience in management and operational infrastructure. The position requires a Master’s degree and museum/nonprofit administrative experience, plus background in Russian art and culture and ability to speak and read Russian. TMORA is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit with an engaged board of 19 and a strong professional staff. It is the only art museum in the US devoted solely to Russian art and culture from the late 19th century to today, and it is rapidly becoming the most important center for Russian art and culture in the US. The Museum hosts changing exhibitions and offers dozens of public programs annually. It has an annual attendance of nearly 38,000 visitors and owns a growing collection of Russian paintings, works on paper, folk art and decorative objects. Nominations welcome. EOE.
