At the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, we have a vacancy for an ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in POLITICAL SCIENCE.

It is a tenure track position with a review after 50 months and with 50% research time in the first two years to build a track record.

The domain of the vacancy is broadly defined as involving political actors and institutions in an international context. But, preferably, candidates have a research agenda that speaks to one (or more) of the fundamental societal challenges that are central in our research program: democracy, inequality, security, and climate change.
