The newly established Russian Language Flagship seeks an energetic administrator to coordinate day-to-day operation of the program. The program coordinator will participate in strategic planning, implementing and developing the program’s activities to meet its goals and mission. The program coordinator’s duties will include all viable aspects of the program operation – recruitment, student advising and tracking, updating the Russian Flagship Student Certification System, coordinating with other units on campus that support the Russian Flagship’s efforts, developing reports and budgets, and maintaining the program’s website and social media presence.
Starting date: September 2018. Screening of applications will begin August 29, 2018, although all applications will be considered until the search is concluded.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience in a related administrative field. Combinations of related education and experience may be considered.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange information. People and time management skills. Technical savvy. Ability to self-start and quickly learn new skills necessary for solving novel problems.
