    “Global & Intercultural Studies: Havighurst Teaching Fellow/Visiting Assistant Professor. The Havighurst Center for Russian and Post-Soviet Studies and the Department of Global and Intercultural Studies welcome applications for a joint Teaching Fellow / Visiting Assistant Professor in contemporary issues in Russia, Eastern Europe or Central Asia.

    The position will be jointly administered by the Global & Intercultural Studies Department and the Havighurst Center: Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to International Studies as well as upper-level courses in specialty. Focus is on policy issues in the post-Soviet region. The position will be jointly administered by the Global and Intercultural Studies Department and the Havighurst Center: the teaching fellow will have the opportunity to participate in events and event planning for the Center. The position is renewable for up to four years, dependent on performance and funding.

    Require: PhD in political science, geography, history, economics, anthropology or post-Soviet studies by date of appointment (August 2018).
