The University of Pittsburgh is seeking two students for graduate positions in the program in Critical European Culture Studies. This elite program offers a unique opportunity to study the cultural questions of Europeanization in an interdisciplinary setting. It prepares students for a broad profile of academic and non-academic careers.
Successful candidates will receive close mentoring and substantial financial support to pursue their research questions. Graduate stipends are highly competitive and students will have support for summer research. They will also receive pedagogical experience. And they will have the opportunity to develop applied experience in cultural institutions.
The University of Pittsburgh is home to one of the first European Studies Centers. It is set in the urban heart of the thriving city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Open to promising students who will have an MA by the time of enrollment, the program is now accepting applications. More information, including application information to the program, is available at: http://www.cecs.pitt.edu/
