With funding from the Council of American Overseas Research Centers (CAORC), the American Research Institute of the South Caucasus (ARISC) will be offering stipends for conducting lectures and/or workshops in Armenia, Azerbaijan, or Georgia.

    Stipends for Lectures and Workshops
ARISC invites applications for U.S. scholars to conduct lectures and/or workshops in the South Caucasus countries of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia.

All topics in the social sciences, humanities, and related sciences are eligible, and a list of preferred topics is included in the full call. Proposals will be judged on the quality of their academic caliber and on the impact to the local scholarly community. Selected applicants will be given a $200 stipend for a lecture, or $500 for an all-day workshop. All information must be received by Wednesday, November 1, 2017, in order for the applicant to be considered for the priority deadline.
