Fulbright Scholar Opportunities to Teach and Research in Poland!

    The Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program is accepting applications for the 2020-21 academic year. Opportunities are available for artists, college and university faculty, professionals, and independent scholars to teach and conduct research at educational institutions and research institutions in Poland.We are welcoming applications until Monday, September 16th. Fulbright Scholars represent the diversity of the United States and build lasting relationships with students, collaborators, the wider research community, and/or institutions abroad that serve as the foundation for future collaborations.

    There are six opportunities available in Poland including the following highlights:

    Distinguished Chair in Humanities and Social Sciences at Adam Mickiewicz University  This is an opportunity to teach and/or research for four months at Adam Mickiewicz University, Faculty of English in Poznan.  The grantee will teach one regular course at the undergraduate or graduate level and one specialized seminar for Ph.D. students. All teaching will be in English, but additional language knowledge is recommended to facilitate contacts with the institution and community. A letter of invitation is required.

    Media Literacy and Cybersecurity Teach courses and seminars at the undergraduate and graduate level as well as conduct research and assist with curriculum development at any appropriate institution for one semester. Candidates will an interest in digital society, digital humanities, the new media, or cybersecurity are encouraged. A Ph.D. or a minimum of ten years of professional experience is required. A letter of invitation is preferred. All teaching will be in English.

    Fulbright-Schuman Innovation Award  The Innovation Award is designed to support work that can create better transatlantic understanding of issues at the heart of the U.S.-EU relationship, particularly at the intersection of policy and technology. The 2020-21 Innovation Award will give preference to proposals focused on EU or U.S.-EU approaches to innovative technologies and business models and their integration with new and existing policies and regulations. A letter of invitation is required. Host country language ability commensurate with the requirements of the project is required.
