    ARISC CollaborativeHeritage Management Grant in Armenia

     

    ARISC invites proposals fromcollaborative teams in support of the preservation and conservation of theRepublic of Armenia’s archaeological and historical heritage. This ARISCprogram, generously funded by private donors, seeks to foster joint workbetween American and Armenian scholars and institutions dedicated to the propercuration and preservation of heritage materials such as artifacts, sites, andmanuscripts. Successful applications will demonstrate substantive collaborationsthat not only contribute to heritage conservation but also demonstrate effortsto build capacity and enhance local knowledge of current techniques andapproaches to heritage management. These grants require active participation ofboth American and Armenian principal investigators in all aspects of thecollaborative project. Grants will not exceed $4000.

This ARISC program seeks to foster joint work between American andAzerbaijani or Georgian scholars and institutions dedicated to the propercuration and preservation of heritage materials such as artifacts, sites, andmanuscripts. Successful applications will demonstrate active, substantivecollaborations that not only contribute to heritage conservation but alsodemonstrate efforts to build capacity and enhance local knowledge of current techniquesand approaches to heritage management. These fellowships require activeparticipation of both American and Azerbaijani or Georgian principalinvestigators in all aspects of the collaborative project. Fellowships will notexceed $4000.
