    Abstract:
    As the global emergency efforts to fight the devastating corona virus also known as Covid-19 continue to grow, there has been a rise in ‘infordemic’ (false) information. This has in turn led the spread of inaccurate information relating to the deadly viruses’ origin, transmission and the proposed preventive measures within our communities and beyond without being fact checked.
