- Abstract:
- With the introduction and popularity of text to image generative artificial intelligence models, new automated configurations are emerging in the relations between written language and visual representation. We refer to philosophic approaches that dealt with issues of representation during the so-called linguistic turn. We then look into how the development of powerful AI systems of generative images emerged, and their consequences to our understanding of visual arts and the role of artists today.
