    Abstract:
    पेरियार के मूल तमिल लेखन का हिंदी अनुवाद उपलब्ध नहीं था, इस कारण उनकी वैचारिकी से हिंदी क्षेत्रों के दलित-बहुजन आंदोलन का उस तरह का सघन और सक्रिय रिश्ता विकसित नहीं हो था, जैसा कि डॉ. आम्बेडकर और बहुत हद तक जोतिराव फुले से हो सका है। इस कमी को प्रमोद रंजन द्वारा 2020 में संपादित पेरियार पर केंद्रित तीन पुस्तकों की ऋंखला ने पूरा किया। ये पुस्तकें हैं ‘जाति व्यवस्था और पितृसत्ता’, ‘धर्म और विश्व दृष्टि’ तथा ‘सच्ची रामायण’। इन पुस्तकों का प्रकाशन राधाकृष्ण प्रकाशन ने किया। इन पुस्तकों में हिन्दी, अंग्रेज़ी और तमिल भाषा के पेरियार के सर्वश्रेष्ठ अध्येताओं के आलेख संकलित हैं, जो पेरियार के विचारों पर प्रकाश डालते हैं। उपरोक्त तीनों किताबों की भूमिका ‘हिंदी पट्टी में पेरियार’ शीर्षक से प्रकाशित है, जिसे यहां पढ़ा सकता है।
    Notes:
    Hindi translation of Periyar's original Tamil writings was not available. This gap was filled by a series of three books on Periyar edited by Pramod Ranjan in 2020. These books are ‘Jati vyastha aur pitri satta’ [Caste system and patriarchy], ‘Dharm aur Vishwa Dristhti’ [Religion and world view], and ‘Sachi Ramayan [True Ramayana]. The introduction of the above three books is published with the title 'Periyar in Hindi Patti' [Periyar in Hindi Belt], which is uploaded here.
