The purpose and content of the observations is to understand course activities, effectiveness of digital technology, the instructor’s role in the course, and student engagement and interaction. The disciplines represented include user experience, teacher education, and biological sciences. This data has been collected by Caitlin Kirby, Shannon Kelly, Jun Fu, Cui Cheng, and Natalie Vandepol at Michigan State University in accordance with IRB procedures.
