No. STEAM-VOL4-NUM2-FAB2022; ISBN 978-0- 9890870-3-2. ............ABSTRACT: In SUDOKU9.0, I introduced the Principle of the Least Choice (PLC) to solve hard Sudoku Puzzles and in SUDOKU10.0 I suggested an innovative way of playing Sudoku regardless of easy or hard puzzles. In this chapter, I present an optimal strategy to first use basic moves to fill single candidates and then opt to use PLC in case of double candidacies. Readers can stick to their own habits of playing Sudoku and use my strategy in the due situation. I demonstrate here how to use my strategy to solve five hard Sudoku puzzles posted late summer of 2021 in New York Times. The last puzzle is taken from SIXTY FOUR STEPS SUDOKU INVESTIGATION 2 to extensively demonstrate the way of finding residues of a chain of tendams (RCT). ............KEYWORDS: Sudoku, Puzzle, Row move, Column move, Block move, Box move, Grid move, Terminating move, Law of unique solution, Candidate, Principle of the Least Choice, Residues, Chain of tendams.
