    Abstract:
An introductory survey of historic graffiti was undertaken in selected areas inside Lincoln Cathedral, using community volunteer participation, and made the results and data available to Cathedral authorities. This dataset can be used for developing research, publicity, displays, written information, quizzes and graffiti tours. Over 3,000 graffiti were recorded, and tours have been established.
    Notes:
Detailed elevation and floor plans are accompanied by typed data lists of individual graffiti recorded in each area of the cathedral. Sets of digital photographs have been taken and will be made available at a future date on Lincolnshire's Heritage Environment Record.
