- Abstract:
- This paper presents a history of Greater Friendship Baptist Church of Anchorage, AK. Greater Friendship was the first majority black congregation church in Alaska and the first historically black church accepted into the Southern Baptist Convention. The research within this paper resulted in the placement of Greater Friendship on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.
