    Abstract:
This Master's Final Project brings the results of the research about urban commons in Madrid to understand how their communities are formed, how is their governance and know the tools they use to produce common. The objects of the research are two emblematic examples of these prototypes that are developed in Madrid: the pioneer Esta Es Una Plaza, installed in a public lot in the Lavapiés neighborhood; and Espacio Vecinal Arganzuela (EVA), which builds community between neighbors and activists in a section of the old Mercado de Frutas e Verduras de Legazpi. The study has as a script, from the point of theoretical view, the concepts of commons / common / urban commons, right to the city and to the infrastructure, the practice of citizen laboratories and urban social movements that are they replicate on all continents.
